Article: A classy way to tie a long scarf

A classy way to tie a long scarf

Wouldn’t you love a classy way to tie a long scarf, instead of simply looping it around your neck?

We have a simple and easy solution. Shown below is our new travel series collection, the War Elephants scarf. I have had several customers ask me how to wear a square scarf and while I have posted several ways to tie the square, I thought it would be wonderful to do a twist on the long scarf instead.

Step 1

Fold the scarf lengthwise and drape it over your neck.

Step 2

Loop once around the neck. This is a simple way to wear a scarf and you could leave it at that,

or scroll down below for a very classy look. Try and keep one end longer than the other.

Step 3

Loop it around a second time and tie a knot.

Step 4

Double knot to secure it in place.

Step 5

Take the shorter end, which is closer to your neck and fluff it up a bit.

The rich and luxurious silk twill will hold it up.

We hope you liked a new way to drape the long silk scarf, a bit classier and very elegant.

The War Elephant long scarf is available exclusively to our subscribers, currently. If you would like to sign up please visit our home page. We love the earthy colors of the Thailand inspired “War Elephants”, which is a part of our new travel series, you can read more about my trip to Thailand and my inspiration here.  Remain on our site and use this look to wear our henna horse or the Yin and Yang  long scarves or use any long silk twill scarf you have in your closet!

Hope you enjoy playing with your scarves…shoot me a picture if you try this look!
